Tilt was one of those records where the production had a very specific character from the start — lo-fi textures, wide stereo field, a lot of intentional imperfection. The challenge in mixing was preserving that rawness while giving each element enough space to breathe. We kept the master loud enough for streaming without ironing out the grain that makes the record feel alive.
